General Policies

Date Holds & Event Confirmation:
An event is confirmed when the Palais Royale receives a signed contract accompanied by a rental deposit. Due to the number of requests for dates, we are unable to hold a date.

Rental Rate of the Ballroom:
The rental rate of the Palais Royale includes the use of the ballroom as well as the use of the Palais-owned tables, chairs, lectern, microphone, and public address system (set up and tear down of these items is included in rental fee). Building security, basic housekeeping and coat check service (when weather applicable) are also included in rent.

Tax-Exempt Organizations:
Organizations that are tax-exempt will not be charged tax on rent or equipment usage (as applicable) when a copy of their tax exemption certificate is provided at time of contract. If the tax-exempt organization is sponsoring a fundraiser, food will also be tax-free upon receipt of documentation describing the nature of the fundraiser.

Food & Beverage Service:
The Palais' in-house food and beverage services are provided by Navarre Hospitality. Food & beverage minimums are applicable for every event. Basic linens and place settings are included for food service tables. The Navarre Hospitality Food & Beverage Director will be happy to work with you to determine your ideal menu and room layout.

The Palais Royale is a smoke-free facility. For your convenience, ash urns are available just outside the main entrance on Colfax Avenue.
